Well meaning family and friends, doctors, hairdressers...everyone has an opinion about pregnancy and parenting and they aren’t afraid to share! So you do your own research on the internet and not only do you find a million hits for everything you look up, but you can find lots of support for both sides of the issues. How are you supposed to sort through it all?!

You’ve done your research, follow your instincts, have a clear idea of what you want, and are just looking for the best doctor for your family. You are empowered by your birth experience, maybe under the care of doulas and/or midwives, and you enjoyed the long appointments and personal attention they could provide. You are looking for a doctor who can bring that same sense of respect for individuality and natural normal processes to the rest of your family’s health needs.

I’ve been there!

With two kids of my own, I’ve had to work through these decisions with my own family. Vaccines, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, baby-wearing, circumcision...my decisions may not be the same as yours, but I’ve struggled with the evidence and emotions, and can help you work through the same process to identify the best decisions for you.
